Bingin is a close-knit surf village in Pecatu and the Bukit's main base for long stays, with cafés, gyms and studios you can walk to.
Bingin runs along Jalan Pantai Bingin and Jalan Buana Sari in Pecatu. Most people who stay on the Bukit for months live here or in inland Pecatu behind it, in villas off Jalan Pantai Bingin, Jalan Labuansait and Jalan Buana Sari, and there's a long-stay community between Bingin's stairs and the Padang Padang strip.
Three restaurants opened here in September 2026 alone, among them Pak Gula, from the team behind The Cashew Tree. The shortcut to Dreamland and Balangan closed in February 2026.
